Background
Tracy Jackson is the founder of
iCelebrateDiversity.com
– a company that offers the largest selection of multicultural gifts
available. Tracy, like many other people, describes herself as a
compassionate person, who cares very deeply about others. Yet, like most,
it would take a life-changing event to realize the depths of her
compassion.
Becoming a mother in a multiracial family
was the moment that compassion met reality in her life.
From the birth of her daughter on November
5, 1991, was born the idea for
iCelebrateDiversity.com.
The site would be her call to action to ensure that her children and their
peers would see themselves reflected in the products around them.
Tracy’s desire to foster positive
self-esteem in ALL children coupled with her passion to encourage others
to examine their behaviors to see what messages they may be
unintentionally sending, make for an enlightening discussion.
Main Focus
Educator and
entrepreneur, Tracy’s focus is educating parents,
teachers, students, corporations, child advocates and other community
leaders how, by example, to embrace diversity.
Offering
Entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Tracy shares the message of celebrating diversity with
students of all ages, corporations, teachers, parents, schools,
child advocates and other community organizations.
Partnering with the Respect Diversity Foundation, Tracy is an Art Workshop
Facilitator, reading books on diversity, leading discussions and facilitating
the creation of symbols of respect for diversity.
