"Native Sons" is an oil on canvas painting by Suzanne Tonquist. Suzanne has picked these particular minorities to parallel the historical consequences of injustice in a land that is free and based on ethical and moral conduct. She feels that a better world will develop when humans are no longer distrusted for their differences and that diversity is turned into a greater strength.
